Football practice has started at many schools and the games will soon begin.  Watch this short video for a lesson from the football field.

Do you have a coach in your life who pushes you to do your very best?

It’s that time of year again. Football practice has started at many schools and the games will soon begin.  Watch this short video for a lesson from the football field.

As a coach, one must teach, positively motivate, and yes, sometimes even deliver a good old-fashioned butt chewin’.  A coach knows what it takes to achieve success and the work and sacrifices required to accomplish the game plan that has been set before the team.   A coach must focus on teaching and motivating the team, with a zeal for the ultimate goal.

Think about the people in your life who hold you accountable and push you to keep going and give your very best…even when it hurts, even when it’s hard. Our perseverance in life often needs fueling by others.  God will use His people to encourage, motivate and strengthen each other.  Who’s doing that for you?  And, who are you doing that for?

Proverbs 27:17  Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
