5 Interactive Apologetic Devotionals
THIS IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD REQUIRING A MACINTOSH COMPUTER USING iBooks SOFTWARE!
At rforh, we’ve been wanting to create 22:6 for a long time. We believe it’s important for parents to work together with their children to train and equip them to understand what the Bible teaches, to be able to answer real-world questions and to strengthen their knowledge and faith in the Lord.
We chose the title 22:6 because Proverbs 22:6 teaches, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” This command isn’t for the church, for the schools or for our friends – it’s for parents! As such, as parents, it is first out of obedience to the Lord that we follow His command to train our children. Secondly it is necessary to train, educate and equip them now, so they are prepared for the future – especially as they enter high school and college.
As we travelled around the country speaking to thousands of parents, young-adults and students, we discovered that there wasn’t an easily accessible, digital, interactive and captivating “basic” apologetics resource designed to help and equip a mom or dad to “train up a child” in specific areas. Out of that discovery, this eBook emerged!
WHO IS THIS STUDY FOR?
This study is primarily for fathers and mothers who are dedicated to setting aside time (about 30 minutes per chapter) to be with their child (or children) to specifically focus on a topic and talk about it from a Biblical worldview. Of course, if you want to go through it for yourself, with a friend, or use it as a Small Group study, it works for that too. There are 20 “lessons” in 4 “Parts” (5 lessons per Part, with each Part available for download separately), and although we recommend you talk about at least 3 lessons per week, it’s up to you to decide the best schedule for your lifestyle. The material within this eBook is best for those over the age of 10, but we think all ages can learn from it and enjoy it.
