Carl and Masami Kerby have been married for over 29 years. They have been blessed with two amazing children, Alisa and Carl Jr., an equally amazing son-in-law, Bobby and daughter-in-law Tish. They now also have a beautiful grandson named Trey. Carl spent over 24 years as an air traffic controller both in the United States Air Force (USAF) and for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) before leaving for full-time ministry in 2004. Masami has been the ultimate in a ‘help meet’ for these many years through the many changes their lives have taken. Masami received the Lord as her savior in 1985 while living in the Azores. Through her humble, kind spirit and obedience to Christ the Holy Spirit worked through her to bring Carl to a saving knowledge of Christ 1987. God has made it very clear that He is taking them out of their comfort zone with starting Reasons for Hope. It is very clear that this is God’s working and that they are blessed to be a small part of it. Stay bold!

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, a wife to Steve and a mother of two adult daughters. After 13 years of working in public relations and marketing in the home decor and gift industries, it’s exciting to be using the gifts that God has given me to spread the good news of hope in Jesus Christ. There’s nothing I enjoy more than sharing God’s Word with believers and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. Rforh is dedicated to meeting a great need in our culture by reaching both the lost and the saved with biblical reasons for hope, and representing Jesus Christ as a part of this ministry is both a privilege and an honor.

I am so excited to be part of Reasons For Hope Ministries. My name is Carl Dennis Kerby Jr and I am the son of a dynamic speaker and president of Reasons For Hope, Carl Kerby. I have been extremely blessed and fortunate to grow up in a Christian household where my father gave me the passion to defend God’s Word from the very beginning. I graduated with a B.A. in Media Studies from Judson College where I had the opportunity to play College Basketball in 2006. After College, I worked at different photography studios and spent my extra time working on media projects. I edited films for George the Animal, Steele, Nascar driver Teri McDonald, was part of the filming of two Answers in Genesis productions and recently edited Q&A Live! for Reasons for Hope. I have also spent my recent years as a school Administrator, President and Teacher for a local private Christian school in Northern Kentucky. I have coached a high-school basketball team and currently run a Christian sports league in Union, Kentucky. I married my beautiful wife Tish in 2009 and we had a bundle of joy Trey a year later. I love spending as much time as possible with my family and love being a father. I believe God has blessed me with different experiences so I would gain the skills to help make a difference for the kingdom of God. I pray that God will use my talents in media, education, and sports, to help bring the real reason for Hope in this world.

Almost seven years ago my husband and I packed up our bags to move to Northern Kentucky to work with Answers in Genesis. We met amazing friends, found an amazing church, and had many opportunities to learn about ministry. Little did we know though that Answers in Genesis would only be an avenue to get us to Northern Kentucky, and in fact God would direct us to be a part of other ministries in this area. After completing construction on the Creation Museum´s audio/visual design as the Manager of the A/V department, my husband was called in 2008 to work full time in our local church, and now for myself God has called me to join Reasons for Hope. During our time at AiG, I worked with Carl. Carl and his wife, Masami, became some of our closest friends and like family when we had none close by. We have always admired Carl as a person. His humility and passion for Christ are evident in everyway of his life. He has a passion for preaching the gospel in an enthusiastic way, one that captures you. This is why I wanted to be part of this ministry. Raising two little girls, and another baby on the way, I want to have this kind of influence in our family´s life. I want my children to not just have answers, but have reasons for hope. Growing up as a Pastor´s daughter I was surrounded by ministry and ministry opportunities my entire life. I lived in the church. It wasn´t until Junior High though that my faith became my own, and I discovered the amazing sacrifice Christ made for me when he died on the Cross. My life was changed. Yes, I am a sinner saved by Grace and want to be able to share the joy and freedom in Christ that only he can give. I believe I can do that being apart of Reasons for Hope. I look forward to this opportunity to serve with Reasons for Hope I hope and pray you´d consider being part of this life-changing ministry.
